“The 2013 Arrogant Frog Pinot Noir by Jean-Claude Mas begins with a really lovely nose that is Pinot Noir through and through. Aromas of strawberry, licorice, cola, oak and touches of tomato plant, rhubarb and vanilla all combine excellently. Tasting the wine reveals lots of lovely spice, wonderful touches of earth and a good amount of juicy fruit. Smooth and very easy to drink, this medium-bodied wine also features good acidity. It ends dry and long with continuing lovely spice notes along with hints of vanilla and cola. I absolutely love it and it just keeps getting better with more air. This one definitely gets a spot on our Pinot Noir for the 99 list as well!
